Shancai, a commoner student, reprimands Daoming Si on behalf of a classmate. When the entire school pranks on Shancai, Huaze Lei comes to the rescue.

Tengtang Jing, Huaze Lei's crush since childhood, is about to return from France. Qinghe, Shancai's former classmate, transfers to Yingde University.

Daoming Si and the gang go out to the sea for vacation. Shancai accidentally kisses Daoming Si and sees Huaze Lei confessing his love to Jing.

Mom insists on dressing Shancai up, but the result is disastrous. Tengtang Jing announces that she will return to France and walk her own path.

Lei decides to follow Jing's footsteps. Daoming Si is soaked from waiting for Shancai in the rain; the two accidentally get locked up for the night.

After being insulted by her boyfriend Zhongze, Xiaoyou runs into Ximen, who brings her to her senses and teaches Zhongze a lesson on behalf of her.

Mrs. Daoming returns. Upon finding Shancai living under her roof, Mrs. Daoming becomes outraged. And yet, Aunt Yu insists on having Shancai stay.

On a pouring night, Shancai breaks up with Daoming Si. Then, she takes a leave from school and moves to the fishing village to live with her parents.

Qinghe discovers the whereabouts of Shancai. Huaze Lei informs Daoming Si about this finding, but Daoming Si refuses to bring Shancai back.

Daoming Si tosses the meteor necklace that Shancai returns to him into the water. Lei tells Daoming Si that he will go after Shancai.

Shancai comes across Daoming Si's cousin Qingyong. However, Daoming Si does not know that he has a cousin.

Yamen, the impostor of the cousin, is actually hired by Mrs. Daoming to drive wedges between her son and Shancai, who blows up when truth comes out.

Shancai and Daoming Si are back together, but Shancai imposes a certain condition. Meanwhile, the two find Xiaoyou professing her love to Ximen.

Daoming Si's credit cards are all suspended. Meizuo and Ximen go to visit Daoming Si, but are stopped by his mother at the door.

Shancai goes to Ah Si's house, and finally gets to speak to him through the door after promising to leave Daoming Si.
