Susie McNamara is secretary to handsome talent agent Peter Sands. She's assisted (usually) by receptionist Vi and semi-rival Sylvia. Susie was always meddling in the personal life of her boss and of her friends at work, especially in matters of love. One of her favorite pastimes was playing matchmaker. A recurring character on the series, and Mr. Sands' chief competitor, was loudmouthed agent Cagey Calhoun.
