Leonard and Sheldon are brilliant physicists, the kind of "beautiful minds" that understand how the universe works. But none of that genius helps them interact with people, especially women. All this begins to change when a free-spirited beauty named Penny moves in next door. Sheldon, Leonard's roommate, is quite content spending his nights playing Klingon Boggle with their socially dysfunctional friends, fellow CalTech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali. However, Leonard sees in Penny a whole new universe of possibilities... including love.

I dislike The Big Bang Theory very much. For one thing it is extremely repetitive but I'm also having a problem with their pretending to be a "nerd" show.
The nerds and geeks reference in that show make me cringe. There are no obscure reference to anything. It seem that they make sure everyone will feel at easy with what they are talking about. No mention of obscure super hero ever, it's always about those few that everyone knows about. Even when it comes to science it's always about Hawking or a few other well know by everyone and their grandmother.
But there is more. For a few season now the show as mostly been about that one blonde, not so smart, girl attempt to turn a few nerds into "normal" people and that's just so fracking wrong!
Anyways, wanna watch some real legit nerd Tv show than try IT Crowds or Community, or even go for a bit of reality Tv with King of the Nerds.
I remember the days when this was actively and constantly good. Those days are sadly far behind us.

That's it. I'm out. I just don't find this funny anymore. And with at least another 2 seasons coming... I get tired just thinking about it. Have fun you who still find it funny. I don't.
Amazing show
Based on the first two seasons, this deserves 5 stars. Based on all following season, this doesn't even deserve 1 star. I hope people rethink their votes after a few season
Based on previous premiere dates, episode 1 of the next season will likely premiere on September 22 (if not, the date is likely September 29). Can't wait :-)
Everyone is complaining about how bad this show has become, simple then dont watch it. It isn't bad, it's just not crazy and new.

It wasn't a really good show to begin with, but it was enjoyable to pass some time or when I couldn't sleep. Now it's just turned to absolute shit. After this season I think I'll stop even thinking about watching it
i remember the first few series, when they had some really good ideas, now the show is really boring and i can't believe i'm gonna write this, but this show is even better example how good show becomes really bad one than how i met your mother, last few series are seriously even worse and more annoying than himym's last series
its a great show, it keeps getting a smile on my face everytime so just stfu ^^

@meerareed Sorry if I implied that I wanted to start an argument :) I just notice that my friends and I just laugh with them, because we recognize a lot of stuff they do, because we've been like that. Perhaps just personal taste :)
@starspike there aren't any places to laugh with them and the laugh track says otherwsie. lol i'm not going to argue about whether i'm a ''''real nerd'''' or not with someone on the internet
@meerareed a real nerd laughs WITH them while the non-nerds laugh at them...
This was only good in its early days. They've done all possible "good" jokes and its just a series of bad sketches, split by some atom animation and 10 seconds of black screen.
Comedy shouldn't need a laugh track in 2014
