When the reclusive Stephen Ezard returns to London for the funeral of his brother Michael, an aid worker killed by a landmine, he feels like a stranger in his own country. Britain has been transformed into a security state after a major terrorist attack and ID cards are strictly enforced.
He is startled to discover that Michael had a beautiful wife, Yasim, and seeks comfort in her arms. But Yasim is on a mission of her own. Terrified of losing her, Stephen agrees to support a secretive government project – but his actions trigger a spiral of strange events.
Kidnapped by a violent man, wooed by an old lover with friends in high places and followed at every turn, Stephen doesn't know who he can trust. But he becomes determined to find out what really happened to Michael ... even at the risk of losing his own identity.

I seriously like the acting of Benedict Cuminhersnatch, but a show that has 0 followers, makes me not that eager to start if off, even if its cancelled after 1 season.
