Ratings dip, but it is still early in the season and adjusting to an American audience that has probably never seen it.

purely awesome!
The first episode ratings were strong for Starz. I could see them going up, as interest grows, but I don't think it matters that much for the show. It should do well in both America and the UK, so I see it getting picked up.

Makes up for BBCA making us wait for Doctor Who so often.
Now I see why it is listed when it is. The episodes are delayed in the UK until 6 days after they air on Starz in the US. The dates listed are the UK dates.

Yeah, TVRage isn't always accurate. Too many people making changes back and forth. You can submit changes to anything you see that is wrong. Of course, many times, some idiot will just change it back. You can't defeat stupidity. Believe me, I've tried.
I'm sure someone will fix it in the next 24 hours. I'm too lazy.
Unless I'm mistaken, this is supposed to be airing tonight not next week.
@oranges
Doctor Who does has crazy popularity. Lets put it this way. The US has like 5 or so times the people that the UK has, but some episodes of Doctor Who do like 10 million viewers.
The US has 300 million plus people, the UK like 60-70 million or something. A show hitting 10 million viewers isn't uncommon here, but that is only on like 4 networks and we have 100s between cable, premium, and network television. Our sci-fi stuff would be lucky to hit 5 million viewers most of the time.
Yes there is less to watch in the UK, but still, that is ridiculous. It is very popular there. The original one was the longest running sci-fi show ever, at 26 years. 1963-1989. It picked right back up with a massive audience.
Are you guys able to use your internet to your advantage in Australia, yet? I know it was bad for a while, at least from what I heard. Perhaps you can stream or download missing things.
@ColeFrost I've missed episodes of Dr Who here and there because I've been watching what airs over here in Aus. So despite seeing the majority of the new series, I haven't followed it so far.
I will follow it now, and just not mark any episodes until I go buy some DVDs. Seems more accurate.
@josbeir I always thought that doctor who had mainstream popularity (in the UK). Shame if it doesn't. I think both shows are probably pretty excellent gateway sci-fis, despite their ..fantastical lunacy :D
@josbeir
It's amazing how many people will watch Doctor Who, but won't even think about watching Torchwood.
I think they are both really good and worth watching.
@oranges
Did you try Doctor Who? I noticed it isn't on your list.
@oranges yeah... doctor who universe isn't that popular, i love it all!
Ya queda menos para el 8 de Julio :D
What is this doing without a huge rating???
Torchwood is genuinely fantastic. I didn't realise it was so underloved.
