Vrienden voor het Leven was a Dutch sitcom that from 1991 to 1995 was broadcasted by RTL 4. The series was based on the British television series The Two of us by Alex Shearer. The series was produced by Joop van den Ende TV Productions, later Endemol. Vrienden voor het Leven revolves around the events of the cohabiting couple Eddie Veenstra (Peter Lusse) and Ellen van den Berg (Mary-Lou van Steenis) with their relatives and acquaintances.
