Sounds awesome, i really enjoyed the first 3 seasons. I've seen the first episode with the amazing Gus scene in the lab. You just motivated me too boot up the tv and start catching up now!

@Lemon

I would say the best so far. Gus has risen to Walt level character status, Jesse is caught up in so much (Yet rising to the occasion), and the rest of the cast has stepped up when called upon.

They have been doing a lot of build up to monster endings this season. You navigate a bit through time, here and there, and you can see why things happen the way they do. I would say Gus has been getting as much screentime as anyone this season, to go along with backstory.

I would recommend catching up before the season finishes. The story is very tight, right now, so letting it finish and getting people talking about it would probably only hurt in the long run. Everything has just played out so smoothly, so far, that it is probably a good idea to sit back and enjoy the ride, until you get caught up.

I know the show isn't the fastest paced, but it builds momentum, most episodes, and is handling tense situations better than probably any show, ever.

How is the new season so far?

The fact that they have decided to put an end to it after 16 more eps is the best thing that could happen to a show like this. In order to make sure that they don't try to over-milk this cow, the producers can build up suspense for a mind-blowing final season. Looking forward to it!

@ColeFrost thanks for the update!
I wonder how this is gonna work out...
I don't want it to turn into a stupid pointless show (like Heroes). A great finale would be nice, even though the show has to end soon.

16 more episodes ordered, which will be the final episodes. They will likely be broken up into 2 seasons:

@b0sse It's not bad when a show has a "slow" episode but it can't be overdone because it'll start to look like all boring reality shows. Last episode wasn't bad though. I liked the conversation Hank and Walt were having about w.w. Jesse is really doing superb on not giving a fuck and you can really live into it, I'm also rather curious about what's going to happen next. What's going to happen to Jesse? I'm also unsure about whether it was such a good idea to tell Walter junior about the whole gambling thing. The lab notes seem to have become totally worthless though, I don't think Hank will consider Walter White to be behind the W.W even though it rather makes sense as Walter is a chemistry teacher and the notes are going on about chemistry. Human nature I suppose

Some more discussion on what is going on happened in an interview with the president of AMC.

Whats up with the latest season? So far, 3 episodes in, barely anything has happened. It's gotten totally stale :/

The show will get renewed, but the talks are dragging. AMC wanted them to do less episodes, to save money, which they said no to. They are shopping the show to other networks, to gain leverage.

I just found this very cool music remix of the breaking bad intro, extended&re-edited by Reverend Jazzy Caster.

@Retriev3r

I would have to say that this is one of those shows worth having faith in. If they do only five seasons, that could mean this one will be a huge build-up season, followed by a monster final one.

I think their formula works well enough for this season and next. I might start to get worried, if it keeps going after that.

@ColeFrost If the next season is not going to be any better then the season 3, I don't care about another one.
