Mixed Up is set in the editorial department of the monthly magazine ZIJ. The magazine has become a solid brand in the last 20 years, led by editor Guusje Aquarius, but has a decrease in the circulation figures. The editorial board decides to freshen up with a male editor: David Vogel.
