Our entire way of life depends on electricity. So what would happen if it just stopped working? Well, one day, like a switch turned off, the world is suddenly thrust back into the dark ages. Planes fall from the sky, hospitals shut down, and communication is impossible. And without any modern technology, who can tell us why? Now, 15 years later, life is back to what it once was long before the industrial revolution: families living in quiet cul-de-sacs, and when the sun goes down lanterns and candles are lit. Life is slower and sweeter. Or is it? On the fringes of small farming communities, danger lurks. And a young woman's life is dramatically changed when a local militia arrives and kills her father, who mysteriously - and unbeknownst to her - had something to do with the blackout. This brutal encounter sets her and two unlikely companions off on a daring coming-of-age journey to find answers about the past in the hopes of reclaiming the future.

Pretty much written like a videogame meets LOTR...crew questing around whle trying to reach the main goal.
Well that and the annoying eye movement of the lead actress.

One of the best new shows this fall, and in a long time.
Jesus Christ, this show is horrible. The characters are SO POOR. Especially Charlie - she's just awful, I look to her face and "blergh" is all I see. I'm only watching it for Elizabeth Mitchell, but Rachel doesn't have any space. I don't know if I can handle it.
I hope that charlie will die soon xD

A pilot is a pilot, it has to get the story out there. I can't wait for more episodes, I am excited to see where they go with this.

Created and written by Eric Kripke (Supernatural) and Produce by J.J Abrams (Felicity, Alias, Lost, Fringe, Person of Interest...). You get the just of it. The only problem, is that people are starting to spew out shows like this one. The Walking Dead, Falling Skies and now this. The pilot was OK and the best part was Giancarlo Esposito (Plays Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad). @waseemahmadmeer The pilot was premiered online on NBC's site earlier this week.
Not interesting at all, I watched the pilot and I'll probably stop following. I really don't care what's going to happen next.

I like it, a lot happened in the Pilot but it's quite good. A lot of known actors, and it's written by Eric Kirpkie so it's of course good :D My favorite character is Miles so far, enjoy this show!
