@SilenceHunt3r Same here, I always liked Batman, but their encouragement led to my addiction to this show... They're a bunch of enablers.... lol :)
description needs to be updated. It should be clear that this predates the Batmans timeline
My favourite comic TV show. It feels very 'fresh'.
Friend encouraged me to watch this show and got addicted. 8)
To each their own, I suppose. My girlfriend and I love this show.
Not my cup of tea.
poor show.... 2 episodes and I got bored...
Yay! One more reason to watch it!

@az25 haha you wont see batman in action in this this is about the city before batman. in this show he is just a kid
I actually like that it isn't going full Batman yet, I've enjoyed it's (mostly) procedural-ness, but that's mainly because of Donal Logue and Ben McKenzie, who are both fantastic. Together, through 2 episodes, they're okay together but they aren't worth continuing based on their chemistry alone. I really hope the creator of this show has a clear idea of where he wants this to go, because I could see this getting stuck in boring crime-solving case-per-episode type of TV. I'm going to wait on this and come back to it in January after reading how people feel about it.
@CrimsonLips Yea, Jim will be the focus for sure. I don't love that, but I really adore the DC villains (especially The Riddler) and I think the show will do them well, so I'm sold. If it weren't for that and the promise of at least some Bruce, it would be a different story.
@kenneththepage Yeah, I think so too. I read that the focus is and will be on Gordon so I think that if a case doesn't involve Wayne little Bruce won't be present. I also thought that the show would be set in times where Batman is known. Yet, I would try to enjoy what they gonna give us
@CrimsonLips I don't think there's a lot of focus on Bruce planned, which I agree is unfortunate. The kid isn't half bad as him.
I thought it'll be more about Bruce/Batman, but tle slices where pretty nice. I really enjoyed watching another way of displaying batman universe, though, I don't think all be keeping up with episodes, slightly boring for me at times. I think, I'll watch the whole season when it'll end like Dracula or GoT.
From just the pilot (which I doubt will be anywhere near the show at its best): It was a little dumb, and at times cheesier than my liking, but I really enjoyed it. They stayed true to the characters, and the details they change about people such as The Riddler are clever and intriguing. Th acting was better than expected and I'm really satisfied for now, considering how excited I've been for this. Don't go into this expecting a masterful, dark TV-ified version of The Dark Knight, but if you love the Batman Universe (and especially its villains, which are the best part in all mediums), then give it a try :)
The concept definitely has potential, hopefully focus groups don't fuck it up.
