Co-produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and Toho in 1978, "Godzilla" was a 30-minute animated adaptation of the Godzilla films produced by Toho. The series aired on TV Tokyo in Japan and on NBC in the United States (where it continued to air until 1981). For a time it aired in its own half-hour time slot until its cancellation.
