Heilsubælið tells us the story, as the name suggests, of a health lair in a fabricated place in Iceland, where the staff are wierd and amazing and the patients even more so. Life is no bed of roses when the surgeon likes knife attack, the doctor is with inflatable officers identit, a patient from the aging ward never tire of reciting rhymes with anyone who gets in his way, or when the cook has no idea what he's cooking.

In these episodes can be found mythical fun characters from Laddi, like Dr. Saxa, Skúla Elctrician, Reverend Svavar, as well as a memeroable character from Edda Björgvins, Júlíusi Brjánssyni and Pálma Gestssyni.
