Signups Paused for Site Improvements
We are temporary disabling new user signups while we make some necessary improvements to followmy.tv to support a better signup experience and better tooling to block bots from signing up.
Recently, Google's ReCaptcha stopped working because we still use some legacy MooTools JavaScript code. Long story short, these two are not compatible. I tried disabling ReCaptcha but a ton of bots started signing up again.
Rather than engaging in an ongoing battle with the bots, I’ve decided to close signups temporarily. This allows us to focus on improving the site for our existing users.
My plan is to modernize the user interface by removing MooTools, after which we’ll reopen signups. Until then, please bear with us as we work to enhance your followmy.tv experience.

@bertDenolf, yup this feature will come back, the backend query was super slow and caused the page to load very slowly.
I need to refactor the logic behind it.
hey @lemon we can't seem to see anymore what episodes (and when) our friends have watched when we go through single episodes on this site. Does this come back?
I sometimes develop websites, I'm curious what mootools have in common with captcha?
And why do you must have mootools for signup?
Usually signup in old websites doesn't use Ajax and have simple post form that goes to backend.
If you need help - contact me. I think I can make your signup page work with Google captcha without mootools.
