@kakature It was writing as a series finale (again..), it was unsure at the time if there would be another season. The next episode, and season finale, will be out of continuity. :)
Weird ending, last episode maybe?
Could have been excellent if it was a little less messy. And if they had actually been working towards what happened with Fry and Leela in this episode. The two have an on-off relationship? Well, then maybe the writers could have made that obvious somewhere in the last half-season!? The whole episode was STUFFED with great jokes though :)
