While I appreciate the idea of bringing current events into this, that Saul scene with his wife was almost certainly filmed in the last couple of months and added in later and was also a pretty blatant attempt at covering their ass for this year's treatment of the Iranian people, who are folks who probably love American culture and Western fashion and stuff more than you do. Don't believe the fucking propaganda. Just because the Ayatollah's beliefs are batshit crazy, it does not equal with how the vast majority of regular people in Iran feel (which is why they now have a president they elected, who has struck a deal to significantly cut back nuclear programming for relief in trade, etc.), and Homeland, as most shows like this do, show "brown" people as one single thing, evil, conniving people, which is not reality.

I'm really glad SHOW SPOILER we've moved the fuck on from Brody. Looking back, 2 and 3 still weren't worth keeping him alive, but ratings and money are a hell of a thing for Showtime, who are always behind HBO in the game.

I'm actually really excited now to see where they will take this next year, because I was ready to quit after episodes 5 and 6 this year.
