On December 31st 1999, Pizza delivery boy Fry hates his life. After a Crank call that led him to a cryogenation lab, Fry falls into a stasis pod. He wakes up 1000 years later, where Leela a fate assignment officer, discovers that he has one living relative Prof. Hubert Farsnworth. She assigns fry the career of delivery boy. Distraught at being a loser again, Fry refuses this career assignment and escape. While waiting for what looked like a phone both, Fry meets Bender an alcoholic robot who helps him escape from Leela and the police chasing after him. Seeing Fry being brutalized by the police, Leela rebels and decide to quite her job. They take refuge at Fry's newphew, the police is still however after them all now and their only option is to escape on Prof. Farnsworth's ship 'The Planet express'. When things settles he offers them all a job in his company, planet express delivery.
