Despite the unfortunate fate of most of the characters, I can't deny that this finale was absolutely brilliant! I'm glad that the OG ones stuck together and wow oh wow, Joan! I am still speechless about that last-minute character development!
If you can say one thing about Wentworth, they do know how to pull off a finale! What a series. I was annoyed by the Joan storyline most of this season but the closure with Vera was great. End was a little cheesy but deserved - I think separating the prisoners and guards at least would have made it a bit better. I just found it hard to stay on Vera/Jake/Wills side this season when they weren’t doing anything to stop Ann’s horrific treatment of prisoners.
