When a group of loggers in the Washington State National Forest disappear in the same way that another group disappeared 50 years ago, Mulder and Scully go along to investigate and find themselves trapped in a cabin surrounded by flesh eating insects that only attack at night.

Oh, man. This was a surprise. It's hard to describe my thoughts on this episode. The moments leading up to the ending will have you on the edge of your seat, and it's the most atmospherically unnerving episode of the season for sure. But the ending itself is rather abrupt, and oddly enough, the final shots are unintentionally funny. It's something to scoff at in an otherwise great episode.
