5000 fried potatoes

Today is a great day for followmy.tv!, as you might have noticed we have finally reached our 5000th user . In order to celebrate this big event, we have decided to show you some of what we are currently working on:

In other news in the past few days we have been hard at work at adding episode summaries and images, more than 34000 episodes now have summaries. On that note we are looking for people willing to add episode summaries & images for national/shows.The summaries will need to be in english. If you are interested drop us a comment.

State of the Union

Hey everyone! Followmy.tv has hit another milestone today: our first show to reach 2000 followers! Congratz to The Big Bang Theory.

To celebrate this we are going to give you a little insight on what is going on with followmy.tv.

  • As you might have noticed, we have recently started adding pictures on episodes pages, already more than 1500 episodes are covered and we have also been working hard on increasing the number of shows with full episode plots.
  • Some upgrades are in the work for followmy.tv notably a revamped dashboard, Facebook connect and Twitter integration.
  • Now we had a lot of requests regarding a mobile version of the site and/or a mobile application, we are happy to announce that we do have plans for that, however its release will only occur after the next update.
  • Also, followmy.tv recently received a lot of signups from Spanish & Czech users and we wanted to give them a big shout out.

New version of followmy.tv released!

Well, it took a while but we have finally updated followmy.tv to a new version.

Here’s a list of primary changes:

  • You asked for it, you can now upload your avatar! Gravatar is still primarily used.
  • You can now sort the time wasted page on your profile.
  • Fill in your bio on your profile page and show the world who you are.
  • A streamlined process of following tv shows and setting your episode progress.
  • This little blog system
  • You can now decide by which day to start the week in your calendar.
  • Several bug-fixes and enhancements.
  • You can now use a limited set of BB code in comments.

    • [url=http://followmy.tv]Link title[/url]
    • [show=12345]Link title[/show] (created an auto link to the show with the id 12345)
