At its best, a brilliant, sad and heartwarming family drama. At its worst, an annoying, ridiculous attempt at humour with some bizarrely dumb plots. Great show, and it has plenty of moments and episodes where it truly outdoes itself, but it also has some moments where it just doesn't even feel like it's trying.

I love this show, it's absolutely wonderful.

Gotta admit, I don't know any other show that can switch from funny to sad to wtf so good as this one can. Love it.

@love3arts my problem wasn't with anything gay, but I think it's demeaning to describe a show as "gay" just because it explores one characters sexuality, anyway, the tag is gone... But a person isn't just their sexuality, there's a lot more to Ian.
