Based on the iconic hit franchise, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be executive produced by Ciro Nieli, Joshua Sternin and Jeffrey Ventimilia. This half-hour CG-animated action-comedy series breathes new life into the wildly popular band of reptile brothers.
The new series begins as the turtles emerge from their hidden lair in the sewers for the very first time, ready to confront the wondrous and hostile world of New York City and face enemies more dangerous and pizza more delicious than anything they could have imagined. Along the way, they gain a friend in the fiesty teenage April O'Neil and gain enemies in the form of The Foot, The Shredder, and the alien Kraang
Funnier and ninja-ier than ever before, the show will explore the camaraderie of four teenage brothers learning to rely on themselves and one another as they unravel the mystery of their existence and grow to become the heroes they are destined to be.

Hmm, Season 2 just ended like a week ago, and Season 3 already starting? Why no break?
As an original turtle fan, I have the abiltiy and duty to judge harshly this new series. But the greatest part about that is.. THIS IS GOOD. It really bridges the gap between the old and new school that the 2003 series did not. They aren't trying to reinvent the wheel with this series, but they are putting some cool spins on classic ideas, amping up the fighting style, and really trying to cater to fans from all generations. I'm digging the crap out of this, and I hope Nickelodeon can make a good run with this series.
