Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz (Lost, Tron) invite you to a bold new vision of the world where fairytales and the modern day are about to collide.
Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) knows how to take care of herself. She's a 28-year-old bail bonds collector who's been on her own ever since she was abandoned as a baby. But when the son she gave up years ago finds her, everything will change. Henry (Jared Gilmore) is 10 years old now and in desperate need of Emma's help. Henry believes that Emma actually comes from an alternate world ... and is Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) and Snow White's (Ginnifer Goodwin) missing daughter. According to his book of fairytales, they sent her away to protect her from the Evil Queen's (Lana Parrilla) curse, which trapped the fairytale world forever, frozen in time. Of course Emma doesn't believe a word, but when she brings Henry back to Storybrooke, she finds herself drawn to this unusual boy and his strange New England town. Concerned for Henry, she decides to stay for a while, but she soon suspects that Storybrooke is more than it seems. It's a place where magic has been forgotten, but is still powerfully close ... where fairytale characters are alive, even though they don't remember who they once were – including the Evil Queen who is now Henry's foster mother. The epic battle for the future of all worlds is beginning, but for good to win, Emma will have to accept her destiny and fight like hell.
Brace yourself for a modern fable with thrilling twists and hints of darkness. Brimming with wonder, and filled with the magic of our most beloved fairytales, Once Upon A Time is a fitting follow up to Lost from two master storytellers.

okay, am i the only one who thinks it is really enoying that they just took a disneymovie and put it in the series. (even the clothes are the same) Where is the time they could be original on their own and looked at the original fairy tales to get inspired?
ummm. .. .just, what the hell man? Anyone else a bit .. . unsettled by the new fairy tale they've picked?
Also . . .Regina's become just painful. This is something I dislike about American television in general -- if there is ever an interesting character-driven conflict as a major plot-point, you can bet, they with obstinantly refuse to resolve it for the duration of the series . . . because having it go this way or that is fine, but really, why not have it turn around again for an easy 'story-arch' to cram into yet another season? It ruins so many shows.
Poor CGI and mediocre acting but after watching 2 episodes the story itself intrigues me so for now I'll kep on watching.
@ttony Let's hope you're right ! :)
Season 4 will be released sometime in fall this year. While the first season premiered on Oct. 23, the second and third seasons were released in late September. As a result Season 4 is likely to be premiered around the same time.
Curious to see what will happen in season 4, don't expect big things though.
Renewed for a fourth season.
@nico23 Absolutely agree with you.
I don't know why I am sill watching this show. I find it silly, childish and it gets more boring and boring. Also the its overacted a lot and overdressed, especially the wannabe old and poor worlds looked so sterile and unreal, you could see all the green-screens all the bad CGI and that its all inside a studio rather then outside so easy without actually seeing it.
I am watching it because I am to lazy to find something better I guess, and there is of course a part of me that wants to know what happens.
I love the show, but I was very disappointed with this episode and
I was not surprised at all that Peter Pan was Rump's father. To be honest, I have been let down by the last 2 seasons because the show is no longer about fantasies, it is about the drama that happens in our lives. People in the real world fight about who will have the rights of their children. The show has become a soap opera and I would like to just say good luck trying to have another season. The whole Peter Pan story has gone on longer than enough. The writers should either "fix" it or just give up. Sorry but the truth hurts.
I can't believe how annoying Peter Pan is in this show. I used to love the character as a child and now he is the image of a villain.
none of the episodes could match up to the expectations the pilot gave in terms of plot, but it still isn't bad enough for me to stop following this show.
Watched two episodes, way too cheesy for me, and the actors didn't impress me at all.
@Clef I totally agree with you! The first season was great, but the second one is so boring!!!
I can't wait till next season.
This show is so disappoiting me. I absolutely loved the first season, but they lost themself BIG TIME in season two...
Two episodes in, and I've never been soo hooked on a show since Doctor Who.
I still love Rumpelstiltskin, he laugh and way to talk it amazing ;)
This show is about Lana Parrilla.
Boring.
this show is going down the drain...
