No job is more stressful, dangerous or exhilarating than those of the Firefighters, Rescue Squad and Paramedics of Chicago Firehouse 51. These are America’s everyday heroes -- the courageous men and women who forge headfirst into danger when everyone else is running the other way. But the enormous responsibilities of the job also take a personal toll. Big reputations and hefty egos, coupled with the pressure to perform and make split-second decisions, are bound to put squad members at odds. When a tragedy claims one of their own, there’s plenty of guilt and blame to go around. In the middle of a divorce, Lt. Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer, “House M.D.”) tries to go about business as usual but can’t help butting heads with the brash Lt. Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney, “The Vampire Diaries”) of the Rescue Squad – and each blames the other for their fallen team member. When it’s “go-time” though, they put aside their differences and put everything on the line for each other. “Chicago Fire” is a look inside one of America’s noblest professions.

http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/chicago-law-nbc-dick-wolf-medical-p-d-12016 79085/ better do Chicago Prison than Law. Have you notice that Kelly have ex-girlfriend in any spin-off? :D
Wow, what a good start of season 3. There is tension, sensation and the story fits. I like the changes.
I am so fucking glad that there's gonna be a second season... Among the other new series that came out this year, this one just keeps getting better :) Season finale was really good.
@Tante :) I have to admit that after ep 14 it was kind of weird, they had mid-season break and it was just not very fluent and I couldn't keep going, but maybe one day I will. And I get what you mean, it's not a superb series, but it entertains so far, for me it's enough ^_^
@Baltimore Tried to give this another go, really did, watched the first five episodes... I get what you are saying about Grey's Anatomy but its just not my cup of tea... Maybe because they focus too much on the men only, maybe because most of said men are also pretty sexist in my book, or maybe, again, its just not my thing for some reason.
Did change my rating though from 1 to 2 stars to be fair.
Renewed for a 2nd season. http://www.givememyremote.com/remote/2013/04/26/nbc-renews-revolution-law-o rder-special-victims-unit-chicago-fire-grimm-and-parenthood
@muzzyolorea I am actually rooting for Kelly/Casey so far. Bringing Sherlock-y feels into this show.
@Tante Hoping so!
@Baltimore hm might give it another try then, maybe it redeems itself :)
@Tante Don't agree. I am not one who usually falls for the hot-guy-theme, but this show is definately interesting to me because of complicated, promising plotlines and lots and lots of shipping. Am totally in love with this show, 3 ep's in so far and I still think it's just as great for me as for people who like Grey's Anatomy and stuff. Just inneresting, compelling and loving. Watch it, please!
So is everyone Dawson/Mills or Dawson/Casey?
Just watched the first episode earlier, and I am in love with it! I think it's amazing and I am not happy if there are going to be haters bringing it down hence it being stopped. It's just a new show - give it a chance. Amanda
One poc in the squad (as the rookie that everyone hates) and 1 female that - wait for it - isn't even IN the squad but, of course (!), is the local 'healer'. Well, okay, medic, not healer, but you get the gist. They could have done a lot with this, but its just a disappointing series of lets show off manly menz... which, still, could have worked if they at least would have been interesting.
