@az25 Yes he's still a little awkward, and that's seen especially in some of his interviews, but he's already way better than I expected. It's going to take time but I really think he's doing well.
Having Fred there is such a great help, along with the weekend update-esque monologues, the bits with Fred are my fav part.
@rorypondicus I agree. He's still awkward, but compared to Jimmy Fallon's first run on Late Night, Seth Meyers seems much more natural and into it. I love Jimmy Fallon, but I was so worried that his first few weeks on Late Night would be the end of him, it was kind of bad, and extremely awkward. But, now, seeing both of them, it's great!
It also really helps Seth that Fred Armisen is the band leader and banter guy. That little awkward segment they have after the monologue is always fun.
The best part is easily the monologues being weekend update. So, so proud of Seth he's doing incredible
