Twenty-four-year-old Kara Zor-El, who was taken in by the Danvers family when she was 13 after being sent away from Krypton, must learn to embrace her powers after previously hiding them. The Danvers teach her to be careful with her powers, until she has to reveal them during an unexpected disaster, setting her on her journey of heroism.

You made the right choice, this went downhill starting from season 4-5, with too much woke politics and forced feminism.
Watched it till the end though, because I'm that kind of guy, but series finale was underwhelmng and plain boring.
Dropped this in season 5, never really improved in quality unfortunately with s5 being one of the worst imo.

It's ok-ish. It's nowhere near the other three DC series that are running atm, but it's bearable and it has potential.

@maxmullen ;) I gave the show more credit with that review than it actually deserves. Come on, I like the actors just as much as anyone, but the writing is bad, it's super cheesy and the twists come out of nowhere. I could've written much more than just "stupid as fuck", but that would've been a waste of time.
I already like this show's Superman more than Man of Steel's one.
