Cancelled, it's sad but understandable, s1 was almost incredible, s2 was a jumbled hot mess of randomness. Imo it would have been amazing as a limited 1 season show, with a closed ending. S2 should have never happened.
A summary of this series, read if you've watched both s1 and 2
SHOW SPOILER Starts out as A heartwarming, touching story about near death experience people who got kidnapped and are being kept prisoner by an evil doctor who wants to study what happens to people after death. It was going really really well up until the writers started throwing completely random ideas together into the story, People who've had NDEs suddenly became angels, then it became we're special angels who can travel to other dimensions by performing weird ass movements and making weird ass noises, then it became regular people who haven't had NDEs or had anything special can also travel to other dimensions by performing the same movements, then oh look a haunted house, then oh look an octopus is the angel of death and living in a tank at an underground club and he can speak by taking control of a human, then the haunted house is a puzzle and it makes people hallucinate because of mercury poisoning, then the house is a portal to other dimensions, then oh look people get seeds in their ears and these seeds grow into flowers, eat the flowers and you can get a glimpse of other dimensions, oh look a tree can talk and teleport you to another place, then oh, you can travel by making lifeless robots perform the weird ass movements and noises for you.. Remind me please, what was so special about the kidnapped people in the beginning?
The most random thing I've ever seen, it's like the writers were hallucinating random thoughts and ideas and decided to put them in a story
It felt to me that the series ended, but perhaps, it did not? Is it returning?
amazing show! hopefully we won't have to wait this long for the third season, cause that finale was so good
Really enjoyed it. I have no idea what it all means after that finale. I'm so confused.
I loved it. It was really emotional and well done.
@santanac82 @marja It flows pretty well, true, but I found the resolution completely unearned.
@santanac82 @warna to me, it was absolutely phenomenal
@warna It wasn't what I was expecting, but it isn't a disappointment. Sure, there are areas where things can be improved, but it's a stable show for the most part.
Wow, what a disappointment.
