Officially cancelled, though unofficially a while back.

Note:

I'm just filling in the blanks for other shows. I noticed that some shows had people looking at what the status for next year was and I wasn't here when some of the status changes happened. I'm just quickly filling in the remaining shows that I see.

It's cheesy way beyond the point it could be considered sweet and entertaining, unfortunately. Something went incredibly wrong here, as it has a potential to be actually fun. Such a shame it isn't.

@pb5k: the trick is: he's keeping Arc in power by being 'Chess'. Without crime supposedly rampaging throughout the city there wouldn't be any need for Arc and their services and he and his company would be meaningless. Now he can do whatever the hell he wants both on the legal and the illegal side -- absolute power.

I'm still not sure wether I want to keep watching this. The first 3 episodes were mediocore and feel like a crappy B-movie. Acting isn't all that good, on the other hand it has summer glau in it.... Swings and roundabouts I suppose. If the next one doenst live up to expectations I'll stop watching this.

First two episodes are 2/5 stars.

The enemy, Chess (James Frain) makes no sense as a villain. Why use an evil persona when he has so much power in his "real life" as a CEO anyway?
Too many stale comic book/TV stereotypes (generic white man, framed, has to pretend to be dead to protect family, trying to clear his name, etc.). The actors act like they're just collecting paychecks while waiting for better roles....

The series "Mantis" was better than this. They should bring that back instead.

I did not dislike this first episode.
Although I do think it looks like an amateuristic made series. I'll check out the second episode later, I hope it doenst suck :). The concept of the series is great, but so far I get the feeling they messed it up.
