On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester’s Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener’s hand is severed as “the dome” comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when—or if—it will go away.
Dale Barbara, Iraq vet and now a short-order cook, finds himself teamed with a few intrepid citizens—town newspaper owner Julia Shumway, a physician’s assistant at the hospital, a select-woman, and three brave kids. Against them stands Big Jim Rennie, a politician who will stop at nothing—even murder—to hold the reins of power, and his son, who is keeping a horrible secret in a dark pantry. But their main adversary is the Dome itself. Because time isn’t just short. It’s running out.

First season wasn't perfect by any means, but it was certain mystery to it and was entertaining. Second season begun to slip into stupidity and the third one is just an embarrassment of garbage.
Spoiler about season 2: Not saying it's the definite reason and cause of it, but it's interesting to me how the show started to get extremely poor as soon as SHOW SPOILER Angie was killed off.
its cringy
I don't understand how this show lasted 3 seasons.
season 3 sucks! that's a pity because 1 and 2 were good
no ending series -.-
Definitely not worth the 3 seasons I spent watching it.
For the new viewers dont watch this show. It doesnt have a closed ending so no series final. I waste my time on this show.

Stopped following after the first episode of season 3.
this season with the kinship is totally crap
season 3 sucks idd :/
blarg, only first half of season 1 was proper, its time for a series finale :)
That's the impression I was getting.
Meh, season 3 is so boring :(
The first season was such a heap, I really don't know If I can go any further. It's waaaay down my watchlist, by the time I run out of things to watch I'm sure I'd have forgotten what's happened. Is it worth pushing on with?
I found 1st half of 2nd season so boring, and 2nd part so intense that I watched it in one day *.* MORE!!!!
I'm really enjoying the 2nd season with some friends, pointing out everything that is hilariously wrong about it.
I'm hearing so much *bad word* about this show I'm tempted to watch the 2nd season after all.
Is it boring-bad or insanely-funny-bad?
Love it :) Maybe not 5 stars but idea is great and Julia and Barbie are just adorable <3 And there's not many shows where I just REALLY HATE the villain xD
The plotlines are more see through than a window, and a highschool play has better acting than this show. They should've kept it to one season, and even that wasn't great
