Do No Harm

Do No Harm

Dr. Jason Cole (Steven Pasquale, "Rescue Me") is a highly respected neurosurgeon who has it all - a lucrative career, confident charm, the gift of compassion. But he also has a deep, dark secret. One morning when he wakes up disoriented in a wrecked hotel room amidst several near-naked women he's never seen before, he knows one thing: it's happening again. Every night at the same hour, something inside Jason changes, leaving him almost unrecognizable - seductive, devious, borderline sociopathic. This new man is his dangerous alternate personality who goes by the name of 'Ian Price.' For years he's battled Ian, keeping him in check with a powerful experimental sedative. But now his - their - body has developed a resistance to the serum, setting Ian free once again. And to make matters worse, after being suppressed for so long, Ian's hell-bent on taking revenge on his oppressor. With everyone Jason cares about at risk - patients, friends, coworkers and even the woman he loves - he's got to stop Ian once and for all. Will they find some common ground, or will they bring each other down? Hell hath no fury like an alter ego scorned.

THIS SHOW IS AWESOME. And it was deleted, WTF?

FaNeyNey (Feb 10, 2013)

@killmotion I'll follow your advice and wait on some new series :-D. I just don't really know how everything is developing in America, considering I'm from Belgium ^^. Thanks for the heads up though!

@FaNeyNey To be fair, it was a pretty horrible show. I knew going in it'd not have much of a chance. While the idea was good, it was just very poorly executed. And the premiere ratings really were dismal. And they tanked even more in week two. It's a culmination of a lot of things, really. NBC in particular hasn't had a show work on Thursday night at 9PM since ER left the air (in 2009!). And networks (all of them) in particular, I think, just do not promote their new shows enough. Ratings in general across the board are declining due to the rise of other watching mediums that Nielsens don't account for. Not to mention the fact Nielsen is a very much outdated system that sadly is still a contributing factor in the life and death of a show and doesn't reflect the true viewership. Ok getting on a tangent here. Back to the point of maybe it's best to wait for new shows to air for a bit before deciding it it's worth the time, because so many things do get cancelled nowadays it does feel like a waste of time.

@killmotion Everything gets cancelled lately ... >_< Maybe I'll stop following all new series ... All this cancelling SUCKS

az25 (Feb 07, 2013)

Has anyone checked this out? How is it? Anyway, bad news if you have started and liked this, it's almost certain to get canned: -canceled-of-course/168028/

This looks like Awake and My Own Worst Enemy had a baby, and as it is on NBC as those both were...I'm not holding my breath on how long it lasts. But that never stops me from watching anything!
