This could've been quite fascinating series, but I feel that they really messed up by making it so short. Everything happened incredibly fast and certain things seemed to be coming out of nowhere with no explanation (unless you already knew the history and could connect the dots). Would've definitely fared better as a 10 episode series with proper built up and focus. Shame!
