Seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros. Political and sexual intrigue abound. The primary families are the Stark, Lannister, and Baratheon families. Robert Baratheon, King of Westeros, asks his old friend Eddard Stark to serve as his chief advisor. Eddard, suspecting that his predecessor had been murdered, accepts so that he can investigate further. It turns out more than one family is plotting to take the throne. The Queen's family, the Lannisters, may be hatching an incestuous plot to take control. Across the sea, the last surviving members of the previously deposed ruling family, the Targaryens, are also plotting a return to power. The conflict between these families and others, including the Greyjoys, the Tullys, the Arryns, and the Tyrells, leads to war. Meanwhile, in the north, an ancient evil awakens. Amidst war and the political confusion, a brotherhood of misfits, The Night's Watch, is all that stands between the realms of men and the horrors beyond.

@kasseikerel If your first statement really was that 'obviously not intended to be shameless horndogging', then why did Mitholas miss that point? I, myself, just rolled my eyes at said first statement from your side and thought I should not waste my time, but replying to Mitholas' comments in a way that suggest he can't take a joke is just a variety of the infamous 'its not sexism if its funny' arguments... which, just in case you didn't know, are simply invalid. Don't attack someone for a) being unable to read your mind and b) pointing out sexism.

Just leaving this here in case you are wondering what the fuss is about.
@kasseikerel If you're only out to see naked people, go watch porn. Game of Thrones is still delivering great quality television and there is an abundance of female nudity as is. In fact, that might be the only point the show can be criticized on.
@kasseikerel I find your public, shameless horndogging rather disturbing.
SHOW SPOILER GIVE THOSE DRAGONS BACK.
@Snowyflake Nope, it's not.
@Linius it is.
@Tsunande Nope, it's not.
Zwaar over-hyped.
@tiagoh hehe :P
@avanish I think I see what you did there. lol
We found what the black smoke really is, if you know what i mean...
@Tante they seem to be more ambitious than they were with the first season. there are much more scenes that weren't in the book, and some of them are good for some character development, especially for the characters that do not have a POV in the books. i'm liking it, let's see if they keep it like this.
It starts to be only about tits and torture, the story really gets kind of weaker every week...
Those who've read the books should be glad that the series is starting to take its own path. Now you guys have mystery too :D
In this fourth episode (season 2) they are definitely starting to change things compared to when and how they happened in the books. Mostly switching around the timeline so far, but really curious how the situation at Harrenhal is going to play out now...
