Seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros. Political and sexual intrigue abound. The primary families are the Stark, Lannister, and Baratheon families. Robert Baratheon, King of Westeros, asks his old friend Eddard Stark to serve as his chief advisor. Eddard, suspecting that his predecessor had been murdered, accepts so that he can investigate further. It turns out more than one family is plotting to take the throne. The Queen's family, the Lannisters, may be hatching an incestuous plot to take control. Across the sea, the last surviving members of the previously deposed ruling family, the Targaryens, are also plotting a return to power. The conflict between these families and others, including the Greyjoys, the Tullys, the Arryns, and the Tyrells, leads to war. Meanwhile, in the north, an ancient evil awakens. Amidst war and the political confusion, a brotherhood of misfits, The Night's Watch, is all that stands between the realms of men and the horrors beyond.

Dubbing is just pointless, isn't it? Why watch a dubbed show if you can just as easily acquire it in its original language with subtitles? You're either analphabetic or just too lazy to read. It just doesn't make sense. At all.
Also; if I ever see a German dubbed version of Dexter, I will annihilate everything in my vicinity. Nothing will be spared.
@quartoxuma Dubbing never works because when you watch a series or a movie language is very important for several things like humor and authenticity. A serie or a movie loses so much when not watching it in his original language. There are great actors who speak their language so awesome it's a crime to dub it because it lose's some of the value the actor put in the movie.

Actually German dubbing is pretty good...
I do like the original versions better, but some dubbed versions are great. The drama shows don't loose that much in translation. The comedys are terrible, but shows like Dexter or Breaking Bad work perfectly fine.

I found a great article on how they plan to keep it going for a long time, as long as they have books to shoot seasons for. The article says they won't cancel it early and also explains why they only did 10 episodes.
