FINALLY!! Jesus. I said to my gf, 3/4 in, if an an arsehole doesn't finally die, I cant watch anymore. Everyone decent, gets killed on and the c***s survive. Finally, something to cheer!!
FINALLY.
Indeed @Baltimore :D
@kippie It'lll be crossing over into book 4 and even some minor parts of book 5.
Thank god that motherfucking prick is finally dead. ABOUT TIME.
boring episode ... so predictable
You know shit will happen when The Rains of Castamere starts playing :')
game of thrones self note: always expect the unexpected
This was pretty much uneventful until King Joffrey died. Didn't see that one coming and I enjoyed it.
@lizzymaxia Just go read it. And of course a scene could be better in one form than the other even if written by the same person. Some things are easier to translate to screen than others.
@kippie Lot's of other stuff happens in this book. Think about what happens next to Tyrion and Sansa; that should jog your memory. Joffery and Margaery's wedding is only 1/2 to 1/3 of the way through the book and happens pretty much right after the red wedding so this was the right place for it.
Meh and boring until the king's death...just a 4 for this one!
Maybe I'm the only one but I feel like there's so too much going on for 'just' 1 hour episodes. I mean: there's so many subplots it takes 2 whole episodes to give every character at least some screen time. Almost feels like I'm watching watching 2 seperates shows that air bi-weekly or something at times...
I haven't read the books, but this ep was written by George R. R. Martin himself, so I'm not sure how that last scene could be better in the book also written by him? Unless his vision changed or something? Could someone please explain what was done differently/better? Thanks!
@Mayonaisepot definitely better in the books, but i still really enjoyed the episode tbh
Omg, I was not expecting that! Really loved this episode!
I'm surprised this came so soon in the season already. I wonder what's coming for the rest of the season as this was pretty much all I could remember from this book.
IMDB: Joffery and Margaery's wedding has come. Tyrion breaks up with Shae. Ramsay tries to prove his worth to his father. Bran and company find a gods tree.
Well, pretty meh episode save for the last 10 minutes. But I agree, the scene in the book was much better. Still very enjoyable nonetheless, one cunt gone, still a lot left :p
Totally unexpected. Fucking loved it!
Fuck yeah!! Too bad she blames my favorite character... That Bitch! Awesome episode. Was hooked the whole time.
