Zelos HamiltonTuco's uncle is an amazing character, and he's been in only two episodes with zero lines. That's impressive.

@Renegade412 23's still young, I'm sure you'll figure it out. Good luck to you if you ever decide to take the leap and pursue one of those universities!
Not seriously, but I have considered it. Basically my life and career is going nowhere at 23, so I'm thinking of a radical change to pursue something I have genuine interest in. Spending a couple of years at one of Australia's primary video, audio, and gaming universities is on my list.
Hey guys, I don't feel like tagging all of you but hopefully you'll see this pop up in the activity log. So I just went through orientation and am officially going to be attending the University of Georgia in the fall with a double major in Mass Media Arts and Film Studies. I have no specific plans as of yet although I'm going to try to break into the film and television industry, and I was just wondering, is anybody else seriously trying to get into the entertainment industry?
I'm baaaaaaaaack! Basically these were the best two weeks of my life, as I learned a lot about the film industry along with some other like-minded film school hopefuls such as myself and pretty much confirmed that I DO indeed want to get into the business, most likely as a television producer of some kind. Which is something I'm actually going to learn about friday when I go visit my cousin, who works as a producer on Burn Notice, on the set Friday. So I made three short films in various groups of people, met with several people from the industry such as, for example, one of the editors from Glee, and basically confirmed what I want to do in life. As sad as I am for it to be over, though, I have a looot of TV to catch up on. My brother's already on Buffy 6 and Angel 3 so yeah >_>
Good to be back guys!
That sounds like an awesome trip, have fun!
@Excitebike Well to be honest it was mostly for you. If you got scared when I didn't post a Buffy ep for 3 days, I shuddered to imagine what you would do when I did nothing for two weeks lol.
@Flashman You just wait, you.
Thanks for the heads up. I would have put out a missing persons report. That sounds cool though. Hope you have a good time
@Zelos Your lack of dedication is why you're languishing at the 5 month mark and will never catch up.
Heads up, guys. I'm leaving tomorrow morning to take a two-week summer film class-esque program in California where I'll learn the basics of film, make some short movies, tour hollywood, etc. I'm looking forward to it a lot but it means I won't be able to watch any of my shows for roughly three weeks, so don't think I disappeared or anything.
I just realized I hit 7 months.
I FINALLY WATCHED FIVE DAYS! :D
You guys make me feel pathetic.
Alright, cool. But it might have to wait one or two more days since I haven't actually got it yet.
@Renegade412 Bokurano. I still have 3 episodes left but Bokurano is probably the best anime I've ever seen whereas Mirai Nikki, while good and somewhat intense, had a lot of "meh" moments and a really unsatisfactory ending for me. But Bokurano is amazing.
Pick for me: Mirai Nikki or Bokurano or something else?
I'm pretty sure the anime is just an adaptation of the Visual Novel game, sort of like Higurashi if you've seen that. I think the game is basically the same but it has alternate endings and stuff. I would love to play it but it's kind of only in Japan.
RespecttheIMD, who recommended Steins;Gate, said Chaos;Head is terrible. But you still might want to watch the first episode just to check it out, I know I probably will. And FMA is amazing. FMA Brotherhood, on the other hand, is my favorite anime of all time.
Hey I've been meaning to ask you, do you know anything about the Steins;Gate game? I realize that the anime was supposed to be a bonus to the game or soemthing? It makes me wonder how good this game could be if the anime is this badass.
Also, I have been downloading some animes, and I found one called Chaos;HEAd which is supposed to be connected to Steins;Gate. Ever heard of it? If so, any good? It's only 11 episodes, I think I will be checking that one out. First though, I just started Full Metal Alchemist and loved the first episode so that will probably be something I will finish soon. Then Brotherhood (which I hear is better)
Yep, it's good, but it won't blow you away like Steins;Gate did.
@Renegade412 Thanks! That sounds mildly interesting and seems like it could go either way in quality, but it's only 13 episodes, so I'll definitely try to find and watch it.
Oh, and another time-travel video game - time hollow! It wasn't actually very good, although the story was pretty interesting. But I knew I was forgetting one I had played.
Oh! I just remembered another TV show about time travel that I thought was pretty interesting: Journeyman.
